Mary Lou Green, 85, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday morning, June 13, 2018, at the Davis Hospice Center.
Mary Lou was born April 30, 1933 in Mingo Township, Bates County, Missouri.

James Asbury
James E. Asbury II, passed away on June 14, as he lost his struggle with alcohol and depression. He was born in San Diego, CA on April 23, 1963.
He served honorably in the US Marine Corps and the Wyoming Army Guard, as well as time with the Cheyenne Police Dept. and the UPRR. While in the Marine Corps, he served in Bosnia/Herzegovina, Iraq, Bahrain, Somalia, and Kuwait.
His favorite pastimes were all things mechanical and enjoying Wyoming and the west, riding his motorcycle. He will be missed by extended family and many close friends.
He is survived by his mother, Linda of Cheyenne; daughter, Hillary of San Simeon, CA; and son, Aidan of Cheyenne; siblings, Kelli (Keith) Beinlich and Kevin of Cheyenne, and Troy of Saipan, CNMI. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Gunny" Asbury.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Alma Whalen
Alma M. Whalen, 98, of Cheyenne passed away at Davis Hospice Center on June 17, 2018.
She was born December 12, 1919 in Greeley County, Nebraska to William and Malinda Swanson. She married Leo John Whalen on October 30, 1937 in Omaha, Nebraska.
She is survived by children, Jim (Mary) Whalen, Ann (Donald) Rhodes, Joe (Nancy) Whalen, all of Cheyenne, Patricia (Newt) Holland of Kennewick, WA, and Jeannette (Oscar Williams) Whalen of Glenn, CA; daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Whalen of Rocklin, CA; sister, Jessie Grasso of Surprise, AZ; 17 grandchildren; and and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; son, Bill Whalen; sisters, Clara Rose, Meta Welsh Hansen and Beulah Jeffres Petersen; and brothers, Carl Swanson and Clyde Swanson.
A Vigil for the Deceased will be held Sunday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral with interment in Olivet Cemetery.

James Farris
James Samuel Farris died on January 13, 2018. He was born on June 29, 1918 in Cheyenne, the oldest son of Floyd and Mary Ann Farris. He was graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1936 and married Edna Elizabeth Hess in 1937. They had three sons, Jay, Grant and Kris, and they were all very active in the Boy Scout program.
He held various jobs around Cheyenne until 1939 when he went to work for Jack Burri in his office supply and books store. Morton Nisbet purchased that store in 1941 and renamed it Nisbet’s Stationery. While Mr. Nisbet was serving in the military during World War II, Jim ran the store for him. When Mr. Nisbet decided to retire in January 1962, Jim purchased the store from him, later re-locating it and renaming it Commercial Office Supply. Jim maintained the store in Cheyenne until 1998, selling office furniture as well as office supplies to the community.
He has been active over the years in Jaycees, Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Development Authority, National Office Products Association, Cheyenne Frontier Days Committee, Heels and the Buckle Club, SPEBSQSA, First United Methodist Church and the Lions Club.
Jim is survived by two of his three sons, Grant (Alice) and Kris; daughters-in-law, Janice Farris and Jane Phelps; seven grandchildren, Robin, Cord (Sarah), Sandi, Paige (Mark), Stefani (Tim), Brooke (Jamie), and Reid (Alexandria); amd eight great-grandchildren, Shelby, Gabriel, Christian, Elias, Thane, Isabel, Gralie and Hayden.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, in 2004; his parents; his brother, Randle; and his son, Jay.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the Schrader Reception Center.
Everrett Balcom
Everett C. Balcom, 94, Passed away at Lifecare Center of Cheyenne on July 21, 2018.
Everett was born on July 9, 1924 to Claude and Bessie Mae Balcom in Bonesteele, South Dakota.

Roger Woodhouse
Roger R. Woodhouse, 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away early Thursday morning, July 26, 2018, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Roger was born February 17, 1950, in Cheyenne, son of the late John Woodhouse and Helen (Shearer) Hitt.
Roger served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He and his brother-in-law built homes for 35 years as J&R Homes. His interests included camping and fishing.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carrie Ann (Hough) Woodhouse; two daughters, Ashley Woodhouse and Mindy (Billy) Inman; brother, Randy (Gay) Woodhouse; sister, Patsy (Joe) Grant; and four grandchildren, Hollie, Brice, Elliott and Cooper.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
A memory service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Following the service there will be a reception held at the American Legion Post #6. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
Ramona Simonovich
Ramona S. Simonovich, 88, of Cheyenne passed away July 28, 2018 at Davis Hospice Center.
She was born December 27, 1929 in Melbourne, New South Wales, Australia to Frederick and Emma (Smith) Scholz. She married Joseph Simonovich on June 21, 1949 in Freeport, NY. She was a homemaker, artist, and a member of the Cheyenne Artist Guild.
She is survived by her sons, Rich (Cyndi) Simonovich of Cheyenne and Vic (Joanne) Simonovich of Merced, CA; grandchildren, Jordan Simonovich of Cheyenne, Catherine (Shuki) Tsang of Aeia, HI, Steven (Love) Simonovich of Capitollia, CA and Justine Holmes of Merced; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Daniel, Joseph, Mila and Luis; sisters, Juanita Seaton of Lackawanna, NY and Shirley Godios of Buffalo, NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Frederick and Emma Scholz; son, Steven Simonovich; and a brother, Victor Scholz.

Mary Jane Larson
Mary Jane Larson, 91, died March 16, 2019 at her home in the Primrose Retirement Community in Cheyenne.
She was born August 22, 1927 in Worland, Wyoming, the first following five sons to parents, William and Ethel Groshart. When Mary Jane was nine, she settled in Cheyenne with her mother, older brother, Ralph, and little sister, Maxine. Mary Jane was a standout student, graduating from Cheyenne High School in 1945. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Leonard “Spook” Larson, for 51 years until his death in 1997.
Mary Jane had a strong work ethic and applied her various talents wherever she saw an opportunity, working as a cook in her mother's boarding house, a movie theater usher and cashier, a US government purchasing agent, a court reporter, a legal assistant, a liquor store bookkeeper, and an assistant in her husband’s dental practice.
She believed strongly in community involvement. Her many contributions included Brownie and Cub Scout leader, 4H and Job’s Daughters counselor, Past President and 50 year member of Chapter C P.E.O., Sunday school teacher, member of Presbyterian Women, two terms as Deacon in the First Presbyterian Church, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Vice President and Treasurer, and Women’s Civic League member.
She enjoyed playing bridge, tennis, and especially golf, with several tournament titles, trophies, and holes one to her credit. She was a long-time member of the Cheyenne Country Club.
But love of God, family, country, and friends (in that order) is how she persevered as a child of the depression. Mary Jane remained brave, faithful, and resilient until her life was rewarded with a dignified release from her suffering. Some of her favorite times were spent with Leonard and friends on the golf courses of Cheyenne and Sun Lakes, Arizona, and exploring all things of interest with her great-grandchildren.
Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Sherry (George) Lovato; granddaughter, Jill Lovato (Renny MacKay); and great-grandchildren, Case and Clara MacKay, all of Cheyenne; grandson, Matthew Lovato of Rainbow City, Alabama; and daughter-in-law, Cyndi Larson of Cheyenne. As the last of her generation in a very large family, Mary Jane is survived by several nieces and nephews, and their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leslie, Harold, Ivan, Warren and Ralph; sister, Maxine Afflerbach and husband, Leonard; and her son, John William Larson.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.

Mary Hoeppner
Mary Eleanor (Samet) Hoeppner, 57, of Granite Canon, Wyoming, passed away on March 18, 2019 peacefully in her mountain home in the arms of her loving husband, Bob. After she received poor medical treatment in her 20s for cervical cancer, she fought a 30 plus year battle of deteriorating health and obstacles.
Upon the request of Mary, no funeral or memorial services will be held.
Mary was born in Lusk, Wyoming to Betty Ruth (Miller) and James Harrington on August 31, 1961. She grew up and attended school in Casper, Wyoming. She married her best friend, Robert Jean Hoeppner, on May 15, 1993.
She was an amazing wife, mother, horse enthusiast, and friend. She enjoyed sitting on the deck with Bob, enjoying their amazing mountain views and wildlife, playing with grandchildren, reading, crafting, and gardening. She was the fur mother to countless dogs and cats over the years, and loved them as a part of the family. She was a self-proclaimed “tough cookie” who took no grief, but her friends and family can tell you, she was the kindest, most loving soul you would ever meet, with a heart as big as the mountain she lived on.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Harrington.
Mary is survived by her husband, Bob Hoeppner; her son, Christopher (Erin) Ciocarlan of Rapid City, SD; her daughter, Stephanie (Kurt) Garman, of Cheyenne; her four grandchildren, Icela and Brody Ciocarlan, and Kevin and Stella Garman; and her father, James Harrington.
The family of Mary wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses who have cared for her throughout the years, too numerous to list. Thanks to all her friends and family who participated in her tough journey, and making life that much more enjoyable for her. She will be up in Heaven, snuggling her grandbaby and riding Ace, waiting until we all meet again.
David Anspauch
David Robert “Bob” Anspauch, 83, of Cheyenne passed away March 19, 2019 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 21, 1935 in Culbertson, Nebraska to Roy and Anna Anspauch. He married Luce Escobedo on July 21, 1957 in Cheyenne. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy and then retiring as a Colonel in the Wyoming Air National Guard. He was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Cheyenne Frontier Days Public Relation Committee, lifetime member of Military Officers Association and the American Legion Post #6.
He is survived by his wife, Luce Anspauch of Cheyenne, children, Amy (John) Reiner of Cheyenne and Andy (Bridget) Anspauch of Grand Island, Nebraska; grandchildren, Alexa Reiner, Austin (Natasha) Reiner, Anna (Brodie) Ecklund, Brenan Anspauch, Kerrigan Anspauch (Chris Shelton), and Aidan Anspauch; great-grandchild, Rian C-Reiner; sister, Ruth Ostermiller of Loveland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.

Percy Lloyd Jacoby, 81, of Cheyenne died March 21, 2019 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born December 4, 1937 in Cheyenne. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home and private family services will be held.
Kenneth Faber
Kenneth E. Faber, 93, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Davis Hospice Center.
Kenneth was born November 27, 1925 on the family homestead in Little Bear, Wyoming, a son of the late Barney M. and Florence S. (Hume) Faber.
Kenneth enlisted in the United State Army and served in the European Theater during World War II. He fought in numerous battles including the Battle of the Bulge. He was wounded during his service and awarded a Purple Heart. His service continued after the war ended where he remained in Europe and served as a guard for prisoners of war.
Following his honorable discharge, he returned to the homestead and ranched north of Cheyenne, in Chugwater and in Encampment. He also worked as a master trim carpenter for a number of years. His love for the outdoors included hunting and fishing, and he always loved a good dog and a good horse. He was an excellent roper and was a member of USTRC and team roped in the NOTRA finals in Reno, Nevada. His other interests included serving as a mason in the Chugwater Masonic Lodge #23, and for a period of time be involved in Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Katherine (Larry) Hume of Hawk Springs, WY, and David N. (Nancy Reno) Troastle of Cheyenne; one grandson, Grady Timm of Cheyenne; his constant companion, neighbor and aunt following the death of his wife, Lorraine Downey; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 46 years, Joan C. (Nelson) Faber; and two brothers, W. Ralph and Clarence “Johnny” Faber.
A memory service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment service with military honors will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
Lawrence Gunton
Lawrence J. Gunton, 92, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away May 14, 2019 at the Davis Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family.
Lawrence was born October 10, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late John H. and Rose (Wulf) Gunton.
Lawrence was a graduate of Willoughby High School in Willoughby, Ohio. He served in the United States Army during World War II and following his honorable discharge, he married Dorothy M. Christensen on April 4, 1947. Lawrence worked for the Wyoming Highway Department as an accountant for 37 years. Following his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, bike riding around town, and building with Legos. He will be remembered for his commitment to his love of his family and to the First Christian Church.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy M. Gunton; two daughters, Carolyn R. (Dick) Gunton-Lewis and LuAnn L. (Dennis) Chaffin; one grandchild, Ruby (Kody) Zubrod, and two step grandchildren David (Stacey) Lewis and Pamela Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Rosalie Zubrod, Andrew Zubrod, two step great-grandchildren Ryan Lewis and Tyler Lewis; and two sisters, Ruth Gunton and Helen DePompei.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert Gunton, Norman Gunton and Roy Gunton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A memory service will be celebrated on Friday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m.at the First Christian Church. An interment service will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery.

Mary Brown
Mary Ann Brown, 81, passed away in the comfort of her home on Friday, May 17, 2019, from complications of advanced dementia and previous injuries.
Mary was a lifetime resident of Wyoming, born outside Hannah, Wyoming to her parents, Marion and Effie Stillwell on January 6, 1938. She grew up with her siblings, Joyce, Loretta, Marion, Oren, Oreen and Danny. She moved to Cheyenne as a child and attended Corlett Elementary, McCormick Junior High, and graduated from the original Cheyenne High School.
Mary married Don Brown and together they built a home, a family and a rich life. Fortunate to enjoy a long retirement, they were able to pursue their hobbies and travel throughout the country. Many will remember her volunteer efforts at the county library, youth groups, the First Church of the Nazarene, and many religious organizations. She loved puzzles, gardening, needlepoint, crochet, crafts, traveling, games of chance, and was passionate about researching her family history.
Mary is survived by her children, Marsha and Les; her daughter-in-law, Kathleen; sister, Oreen; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, and Connor; and her great-grandchildren, Kenadie, Kaylynn, Makinley, and Madilynn.
A memory service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
Irene Fleenor
Irene Fleenor, 90, of Cheyenne passed away May 20, 2019 at Granite Rehab and Wellness.
She was born June 15, 1928 in Huntley, WY to Alexander and Savina Herdt, German immigrants from Russia. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and had retired as a sales clerk from Fashion Bar.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Stan) Swain of Cheyenne and Shelley (Jim) Mize of Trophy Club, TX; siblings, Betty Latta of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Jake (Trina) Fleenor, Breck (Craig) McCarty, Rayme (Rich) VanDell, Jessica (John) Harrison, Mason Swain, Cody (Meagan) Adent, Hannah Adent and Sarah Adent and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, and her son, Jim Fleenor.

Dale Wadleigh
Dale LeRoy Wadleigh, 80, was called home by his Lord and Savior, on May 21, 2019. His family and friends celebrate his change of address (Heaven is his eternal home).
He was born May 15, 1939, in Clark, South Dakota, to Elmer and Mabel Wadleigh. He grew up, one of five boys, on a farm in Eastern, South Dakota. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1957. He loved his country and respected all who served. Dale received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines, and then a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and “papa”.
He is survived by his wife, Vangie Wadleigh; his children Cindy, Teresa Ontman, Jeanette (Cody) Nusbaum, Christopher (Jacklyn) Humphrey, and Misty (Matthew) Hall; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Jerry (Darlene) Wadleigh, Gene (Cynthia) Wadleigh; and two sisters-in-law Roseline Wadleigh and Karen Wadleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two brothers David and Richard.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 3p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 3501 Forest Drive, with a party to follow. We invite everyone to join us and wear your plaid

Jose “Sonny” Eligio Flores, 76, of Cheyenne passed away May 21, 2019 in Cheyenne.
He was born September 27, 1942 in Santa Fe, NM to Jose E. and Lucy Flores. He married Eva Marshall on May 5, 1973 and was a member of the American Post #6.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; daughters, Twyla (Joseph) Romero of Cheyenne and Tonya (Nicole) Martinez of Greeley, CO; grandchildren, Pablo Montano, Elisia Tellevick, Averiana Martinez and Santino Romero; great-grandchildren, Sean and Luke Tellevick; siblings, Joe Flores of Torrington, Stella Flores of Colorado Springs, Dolores Zapata of Denver, Grace Flores of Colorado Springs, Leroy Flores of Denver, Ruben Flores of Madres, OR and Jesse Flores of Madres, OR.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Eva Lee Montano; grandson, Antonio Romero and six siblings.

Shaylene M. Hancock, age 48, passed on the morning of May 23, 2019 at her home in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Shaylene was born on August 21, 1970 in San Diego to Dale and Patricia. Shaylene grew up loving her horses and enjoying endurance rides with her favorite, Cressy. She found photography was a passion for her, loved the outdoors and always planning her next adventure with life. She worked with CWC in Riverton for 17 years.
Shaylene is survived by her mother, Patricia Carroll; father, Dale (Sharon) Hancock; daughters, Audriana Sierra Hancock (Paula Okamoto) and Talia Jade Hancock; brother, Shane Hancock, and her special feline family, Romeo and Mugen.
